After hotel pickups we head into the bottom of the valley of Ólafsfjörður to the historical area of Reykir. There we will visit the old natural pool, Reykjalaug, where the locals used to learn how to swim. Those who dare can have a bath in it before we start a short and easy hike towards the waterfall Reykjafoss. Reykjafoss is a fears waterfall which needs to be respected. The brave ones can wade up to the waterfall but we will also hike up the cliff where it runs down from and have a pitstop.
Next, our trip takes us to lunch at a local restaurant and then to the harbor for some jet-skiing out the fjord in search of the waterfall Mígindi. The view out the fjord and up the cliffs are stunning. Often we even see whales out the fjord.
