Join our Arctic Coast Local Chef, Ida, in preparing Icelandic dinner. Modern and traditional Icelandic food is her specialty, with a little ethnic twist. Ida, will meet you at Kaffi Klara Restaurant in Ólafsfjörður at 17:00. Kaffi Klara is a local restaurant with a small guesthouse attached to it. The property has a lot of history and is the culinary and art center of the small town Ólafsfjörður. The cooking class will start by visiting the local grocery store where Ida will introduce you to Icelandic products and give you a little history on Icelandic culinary. After the visit, she will take you back to Kaffi Klara Restaurant, with your ingredients. There you will get familiarised with her kitchen and restaurant, and start cooking with her. During this time she will teach you how to use Icelandic products and the Icelandic ways in culinary, as for foraging, handling, cooking, storing and recipes. Participants will then enjoy their dinner with our local chef.

Pick-ups from accommodations at the Troll Peninsula (Dalvík, Ólafsfjörður and Siglufjörður) or Akureyri Area, and Drop-offs can be arranged.
